What is Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome? Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS) is genetic and an inherited condition. It is a very rare, complex disease because it is a multi system disorder affecting particularly the pancreas, bone marrow and skeleton. Next to Cystic Fibrosis, it is the most common cause of pancreatic insufficiency in children. Other prognostics include dental dysphasia, enlarged liver, heart abnormalities, skin lesions and poor muscle control. |

This special classic vehicle has been fully restored to a late 1960 style Landrover and remodelled from the last nut and bolt. It is virtually as new and all steel parts where possible have been galvanised, including the chassis, special heavy duty bulkhead, doors, grill panel etc. Replacing, making, overhauling and fitting new component parts to the highest of standards, up rating brakes and re-manufacturing engine to run on unleaded fuel, plus converting to Dual Fuel LPG Making it more eco friendly The body has been hand built in our workshop along with many additional parts, including, interior trim, seat belt mountings, spare wheel carrier, wing spats etc. Electrics and components are mostly new. The vehicle has a full canvas in sand and indeed many other specification changes. This vehicle cost in access of £ 22000 . 00 as a demonstrator to show the standard of work that can be offered. The Connor Wright Organisation is a non-profit organisation set up by ordinary people, with ordinary lives, doing ordinary jobs in order to bring awareness and raise funds for a very UNORDINARY condition Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome. Our goals are to campaign for and support research towards a cure and improve medical management of symptoms as well as raise awareness of the Syndrome within the medical profession, support agencies and the general public.
